1 dead, 2 injured in crash in Sutter County, CHP says

One man was killed and two others were injured in a car crash early Monday morning south of Yuba City. The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of the crash on Highway 99 between Richland and Lincoln roads around 2:07 a.m. Witnesses reported to CHP that the car was swaying severely and unable to maintain its lane. The vehicle made a series of sharp turns, causing it to overturn and crash. The driver, a 28-year-old man from Antioch, was not wearing a seatbelt. He was thrown through the windshield during the rollover and was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP said. The other passengers, Raymond Green, 28, of Yuba City, and a 3-year-old girl, were taken to separate hospitals for minor injuries.
