Crash on I-20 causes car to overturn, temporarily blocking lanes in Atlanta

A crash on Interstate 20 eastbound at Windsor Street blocked lanes for just over an hour in Atlanta.

According to the Atlanta Police Department, two vehicles collided and one of them overturned around 2 a.m., causing all lanes to be closed.

The police said Channel 2 Action News that a female driver involved in the accident was taken to hospital for treatment of her injuries and was in stable condition.

Lanes of I-20 were reopened around 3:20 a.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
