Man released on bail for sexually abusing niece – FBC News

The man who allegedly sexually abused his niece in Labasa was released on bail under strict conditions by the Labasa Magistrate Court.

A domestic violence restraining order was issued against the defendant after he was released on $500 bail.

He was accused of sexual abuse.

It is alleged that on the 6th of this month, the accused entered the room of the victim and her sister while they were sleeping and committed the alleged offence.

The victim then informed her parents about the incident, which was then reported to the police.

The case was adjourned for hearing until July 30.
